The eight freestanding and private suites reflect the colonial style of the lodge and boast a rich wood deck terrace, thatched gazebo and private pool. The interior of the suites comprises a palatial bedroom and sitting area, king sized canopied bed and an extravagant bathroom complete with Victorian Bath, indoor and outdoor showers.

Linked via elevated walkways form each of the suites the main lodge is home to the library, shop, dining and reception areas. Furnished with rich antiques and Persian carpets, each carefully chosen appointment creates the feel of original colonial elegance.

Cuisine at Royal Malewane is courtesy of award winning chef John Jackson and is served up by private butlers under starlight in the traditional African Boma or in a magnificent Bedouin tent bedecked with Moroccan lanterns and Persian cushions.

The Waters of Royal Malewane Bush Spa is perfect for unwinding after the rush and excitement of a game drive. Internationally qualified therapists are on hand to provide therapeutic massage, luxurious body treatments and hydrotherapy. For the more active, there is also a fully equipped gymnasium and 25m heated pool.
