Austria

Austria is a country comprised of glorious landscapes that provide stunning scenery in both the summer and winter months.

During the winter season, Austria attracts many visitors as ski and sports enthusiasts flock to resorts such as Kitzbühel, Lech, Zürs and St. Anton. During the summer months the Tyrol is ideal for walking, mountain biking and other activity based holidays as the snow covered slopes give way to rolling green hillsides. Visit Mozart’s native city of Salzburg, with a medieval fortress, scattered with landscaped gardens and an Old Town complete with cobbled streets. Alternatively, the historical capital city of Vienna lies in the far east of the country next to the Danube, where you can experience the Vienna Boys Choir, the infamous Vienna State Opera, baroque art and architecture, as well as the delicious delights of Sachertorte, Viennese coffee and strudels. From the cities to the ski slopes, Austria has much to offer visitors during all seasons.
