Kings Pool Camp

Situated in a vast private concession on the western boundary of Chobe National Park, Kings Pool Camp is surrounded by spectacular scenery and wildlife.

Overlooking the Linyanti River and Kings Pool Lagoon, guests have a choice of 9 thatched canvas tents, each well-appointed featuring a large bedroom with a spacious en suite bathroom, lounge area, private plunge pool and sala. Take a dip in the shared pool during the day and dine in the open-air ‘kgotla’ in the evening, taking in the tranquil atmosphere of the camp. An abundance of wildlife and species are on display here, including a notably large population of elephants, as well as rare species such as the sable and roan antelope. Discover spectacular wildlife during day and night game drives, guided walks or even from the comfort of the camp’s raised decks, where elephants can be seen nearby at the water’s edge. Other viewing opportunities can be found at the two hides, one at the western end of the camp and the other underground where the water is at eye-level, both giving the thrill of seeing wonderful animals up close.
