Day 1
Delhi to Thimphu (via Paro)
Following an unforgettable flight over the Himalayas from Delhi you will arrive in Paro, where you will then be transferred to Amankora Thimphu for a 2 night stay. Spend the afternoon visiting any of the museums or the National Library before browsing the main street for interesting Himalayan artefacts and textiles.

Day 2
In Thimphu
In the morning, visit Trashi Chhoe Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government and Royal offices, and Pangri Zampa, dating back to the 16th century but now home to a monastic training school for astrologers. Take a short hike to Cheri Goemba or see some of the local cottage industries.

Day 3
Thimphu to Gangtey
Depart early this morning for a dramatic drive via the Dochu La Pass to Amankora Gangtey for a 2 night stay. On arrival, visit the striking Gangtey Goemba and stroll through quaint Gangtey Village.
