Abu Camp

Located in a 400,000 acre private reserve in the Okavango Delta, Wilderness Safari’s Abu Camp is set on the edge of a lagoon surrounded by impressive hardwood trees.

A mere 6 uniquely styled canvas tents house light and airy spaces, en suite bathrooms and comfortable furnishings. Relax on your private elevated deck, carefully sculpted around one of the lofty trees or wander along the lit pathways to the main lodge and dining area. Cool off after a day’s safari with a dip in the secluded plunge pool, followed by dining al fresco on the deck and sipping cocktails in the bar or around a campfire. Interact with the resident elephant herd, watching the evening feeding or sharing the simple joy of a playful youngster, whilst accompanying the herd on foot as they move through the bush. At Abu Camp guests can explore the wilds with morning and afternoon game drives, night drives and nature walks, plus during seasonal floods, you are invited to take to the waters in the traditional poled craft.
